Description

Maryam Eskandari’s clay sculpture emerges like a living fossil, a relic carved by earth and breath. The honeycomb-like formation, set against the raw terracotta surface, recalls both volcanic craters and ancient cellular structures, the primal architectures of life and matter. With its rhythmic perforations and earthy tones, the work suggests a dialogue between creation and erosion, solidity and emptiness. It is at once planetary and microscopic, a meditation on the origins of existence held within clay.
